3 year old
The 3 year old curriculum is one of the many stepping stones children take in the important years before school.
For some children, it is the first time they have been away from their family, although other children have lots of experiences away from close family members. We are passionate about ensuring the best plan can be created to settle children. Sometimes children may need family members to stay for a little while, this is important and natural, until children feel comfortable. Some children bounce off into play, not looking back. All children, like adults, are different when experiencing new people and places.
3 year old curriculum is based on learning through play, building on social skills with other children and developing skills and knowledge in early literacy, numeracy, science... but in an informal, play-based way. Lots and lots of fun and always much laughter!
Children can be booked in for one or both sessions. There are three educators in Term 1 as children settle into their learning environment, but children should turn three before the end of March. Once children and families are relaxed, two educators work alongside children each session in a maximum ratio of 1 adult to 11 children.

Enrolments through Expression of Interest
Expressions of Interest for 3 year old kinder can be picked up from the kindergarten or downloaded and emailed or dropped off to the Director. We encourage all families to come and meet with us so they can make an informed decision about enrolling their child/ren.
Our enrolment process begins with contacting families who have submitted Expression of Interest forms with us, in July through to September to begin to offer places for the following year.
We ask for a $50 deposit to secure your child’s place when you have decided to accept a position. This $50 will be deducted from the amount owing for Term fees, but is otherwise non-refundable.
It is important that you make contact with us and/or return forms on time to secure a place. If we have not heard from families, we need to move to second rounds offers for families still hoping to secure a place.
